Abstract
The heritage of Arabic and Islamic manuscripts is a treasure of the ummah, forming a universal heritage of human experiences throughout the ages. Reviewing the efforts of heritage researchers provides lessons drawn from their experiences. Their experiences can help motivate researchers to concern themselves with heritage manuscripts and increase their efforts to study, edit and catalogue them.
