Suggested Educational Basis To Develop the Concept of Intellectual Security for Secondary Students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Abstract


This study aimed at Suggesting an educational basis to develop the concept of intellectual security for secondary students in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia from teachers’ perspective.
The population of the study consisted of (1764) female and male teachers of secondary stage teachers in North border area in Arar, Rafha and Taref cities in the study year 2011/2012, (980) male teachers and (784) female teachers, while the sample consisted of (302) female and male teachers distributed on (170) male teachers and (132) female teachers, the sample was chose by stratified random way. Moreover, the study followed a descriptive survey methodology, and built a questionnaire for this purpose.
The study results showed that the reality of the whole concept of intellectual security for the secondary stage students in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia came in a medium level with (2.52), whereas the difficulties degree that faces developing intellectual security concept came in a high levelwith (3.70), moreover the study showed that the importance of the Suggested an educational basis to develop the concept of intellectual security came in a high level with (4.00).
The study recommended taking the benefit of the basis that the current study showed for building integrated system; to develop the concepts of intellectual security for the students in this stage, which enable all the socialization institutions to involve on it, and providing school environment more secure and attractive. In addition to, including the concepts that related to intellectual security, establishing media resources and social networks to attract the students fit their interest, where the concepts that relate to intellectual security concepts will publish and develop through it.
