The Attitudes of School Principals and Supervisors toward the Use of Professional Enrichment Method in School Leadership Field at Public Educational Institutions in Saudi Arabia

Abstract


The aim of this study was to identify the attitudes of school principals and supervisors towards the use of professional enrichment method in school leadership field at public educational institutions in Saudi Arabia. The study has been applied on (168) supervisor and school principal. The descriptive survey approach was used in the study. The researcher applied (Hackman and Oldham scale, 1975) which measures the properties of Job function.
The findings of the study were:
- The attitudes of school principals and supervisors towards the use of professional enrichment method in school leadership field showed a high average.
- There are statistical significant differences at the significance level of (α = 0.05) on all domains of the attitudes towards the use of professional enrichment method in school leadership, and in favor of supervisors towards the school principals.
- The researcher recommended to redesign the tasks of school administration to be (diverse and integrated) unit, so as to impact directly the tasks of others in school.
