The Effectiveness of a Constructive Strategy in the Modification ofAlternative Concepts Regarding the Structure of Material Held byClass-room Teacher Students

The study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a constructive conceptual change strategy in changing alternative concepts held by class-room teacher students. The study was conducted on (74) students. Results indicated that the use of the strategy was effective in modifying the alternative concept held by students in the experimental group since they moved to higher levels of thinking style as compared to those in the control group. Recommendations were derived.
