The impact of using the Flipped classroom strategy on the application of female students in Islamic education to the provisions of recitation and memorization of Quranic verses prescribed in the light of their academic achievement

Abstract


The study aims at revealing the impact of using the Flipped classroom strategy on the application of female students in Islamic education to the provisions of recitation and memorization of Quranic verses prescribed in the light of their academic achievement. The study used the semi-experimental approach. The sample consisted of (137) female students, they were divided into two groups: an experimental group that included (71) female students and the control group - consisting of (66) female students the researcher applied an oral test for the recitation rules, in addition to the written tests for the Quranic verses set for memorization, after verifying their validity and reliability. Study materials were also prepared. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the post-application of the oral test of the rulings of recitation, and in the written memorization tests according to the method of teaching in favour of the experimental group. And the presence of a statistically significant difference in the application of the rulings of recitation, and in written memorization tests for eighth grade students attributed to achievement in favour of the experimental group with high academic achievement.
