The Effect of Using Internet of Things Applications on Developing the Skills of Reading Comprehension and Writing Composition in the Arabic Language Course Among Seventh in Jordan

This study aims to Show the effect of using the Internet of Things applications in developing the skills of reading comprehension and written expression in the Arabic language for seventh grade students in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (50) students from the seventh basic class in the Mayar International of the Directorate of Special Education in the Capital Governorate of Amman in Jordan during the Second Semester 2018/2019 Two classes were chosen and randomly divided into two experimental groups one of which was (25) students studying using the Internet of Things application(IoT) and the other was (25) students studying as normal. To achieve the goal of the study, the Internet of Things application was prepared, the listening skill development test, and the written expression skill development test. The results of the study indicated that there is a statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups at the significance level (α = 0.05), in favor of the experimental group. The study recommended using IoT applications in teaching Arabic language materials.
