Abstract

We reported a 28 year old female who has been diagnosed as a case of Behçet's syndrome who started to develop persistent non resolving eosinophilia. Clinical and laboratory findings showed myeloproliferation features. Cytogenetic studies ruled out chronic myeloid leukemia. FISH study revealed the finding of PDGFRA gene rearrangement. Myeloid neoplasm with PDGFRA gene rearrangement is a rare condition though genetically targeted therapy change over the prognosis from aggressive disease to a well responding one using tyrosine kinase inhibitors.
