The Relationship between Levels of Mental Health and Levels of Time Orientation among a Sample of Students at the University of Jordan

The present research aimed to detect the levels of mental health and time orientation, and to find the correlation between the above variables, among a sample of students at the University of Jordan. The sample consisted of (118) undergraduate students (82 females and 36 males). The researcher employed "Goldberg's and Williams's Scale for Measurement of Mental Health", and "Alfatlawy's Scale" for Measurement of Time Orientation. The results showed a relationship between the levels of mental health and time orientation. In conclusion, the researcher recommended a periodical and regular evaluation and assessment of the university students’ time orientation and mental health, for the purpose of developing suitable education programs.
