Abstract


This research aim to discovering the impact of teaching according to map spider in amending alternative perceptions to some of the chemical concepts for scientific fourth grade students and the development of their inferential thinking, the sample of research was chosen randomly, and chose the Division (b) to represent an experimental group which studied according to the map spider, while represented the Division (a) of the control group, which studied according to traditional method, the Researchers was equalization of the two groups of research in a number of variables that may affect in the search results.
To achieve the goal of research and testing hypotheses, the researchers prepared a test to alternative perceptions consist of (15), paragraph two-pronged interrelated, and adoption of inductive thinking test for Saleh (2012), and were verified the veracity and Stability of tests.
After application of the search experience, a data were analyzed using (t-test) for two independent samples, and reached following results:
1. There are alternative perceptions for research sample students in chemical concepts and the prevalence some by as much as more than (90%).
2. There are differences statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of students of experimental and control groups to test alternative conceptions and in the interest of the experimental group students.
3. There are differences statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of students of experimental and control groups in the development of indicative thinking and for the benefit of the experimental group.
In light of the results researchers gave a number of recommendations, including the training of teachers of chemistry on the use of the map spider in teaching through continuing education courses in the Directorate-General for Education Nineveh province, also ahead with a number of proposals, including the effectiveness of the map spider to modify scientific concepts mistake of students at the intermediate stage and for substances other study as biology, physics and mathematics.
