Effectiveness of Educational Practicum Course on Improving Science Teaching Efficacy of Classroom Teacher Students at The World Islamic Science and Education University

Abstract


ABSTRACT
This study aimed at exploring the effectiveness of Educational practicum course on improving science teaching efficacy of classroom teacher students at The World Islamic Science and Education University. Data was collected by using the Science Teaching Efficacy Belief Instrument Form B (STEBI-B), which consists of 23 items in a five-point Likert type scale and has two domains; Personal Science Teaching Efficacy (PSTE) and Science Teaching Outcome Expectancy (STOE). The sample consisted of (48) students in the faculty of educational sciences at The World Islamic Science and Education University registered in educational practicum course in fall semester in 2013-2014. The results showed that there was a statistically significant effect at (α=0.05) for Educational practicum course on improving science teaching efficacy of classroom teacher students on its two domains.
