The Degree of Applying the Standards of Quality Assurance in Saudi Schools from the Educational Supervisors Point of View in Al-Medina Al-Munawara

Abstract


This study aimed at identifying the degree of applying the standards of quality assurance in Saudi schools from the educational supervisors' point of view. The study sample consisted of (128) supervisors, have been chosen by the simple random sample from the directorate of education of Medina. The researcher used a questionnaire as a tool, which consisted of eight fields: students' affairs, teaching and learning, curriculum, human resources, local society, planning and leadership, material resources and directorate of education. The study showed the following results:
Educational supervisors see that the degree of application of quality assurance standards (perfection) in Saudi schools in the areas of study (student affairs, teaching and learning, curriculum, human resources, planning and leadership, local community, material resources, and the Directorate of Education) was moderate.
There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0,05 = a) in the application of standards of quality assurance (proficiency) in the Saudi schools from the perspective of the Educational supervisors and attributed to a variable number of years of experience, and qualification.
This study recommends creating a teamwork to make sure of the application of the quality assurance standards headed by the principles of the directorate of education offices and the membership of the principles of the schools of the directorate, the educational supervisors, distinguished teachers and a number of leaders of the educational society in order to issue legislations that collaborates and addresses the procedures of applying the standards of quality assurance in schools.
The applying of the standards of quality assurance in this phase in number of schools as an example for the rest of the schools in order to overcome the obstacles and resolve them, to make benefit out of it for the next level.
