Sources of Anxiety among Female Physical Education Enrolled in Gymnastics Courses in the Faculty of Sport Sciences in Mutah University

Abstract


This study aimed to identify the sources of anxiety for the students in Gymnastics course at the Faculty of Sport Science in Mutah University. The study sample consisted of (39) students representing the total community. The two researchers used a descriptive approach in survey, and then a questionnaire for the sources of anxiety was built as a tool for data collection, which included (55) items distributed on six axes. Averages, standard deviations, percentages, and multi-way analysis of variance were also used. Results of the study showed that the source of anxiety for students in Gymnastics courses is at medium degree. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences, depending on the changes of the study, such as accommodation, accumulative average, academic year, In light of the results of the study, the researchers recommended that a special internal training course of Gymnastics for the students of Faculty of Sport Sciences in Mutah University should be held
