The availability requirements of the application of e-learning in Jordan, from the point of view of a sample of teachers of Islamic education in the governorates of Jerash and Ajloun in Jordan

Abstract


The study aimed to detect the availability requirements of the application of e-learning in the teaching of Islamic education, from the viewpoint of a sample of teachers of Islamic education in the governorates of Jerash and Ajloun in Jordan. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire, composed of (70) paragraph, divided into five areas, study sample consisted of (174) teachers, were selected in random during the first semester 2011/2012 AD, To answer the questions of the study, the researcher used several statistical methods for data processing and converted the values of the amount of easy analysis and interpretation. These steps included statistical averages and standard deviations, analysis of variance triple (Three Way ANOVA).
The findings suggest that the degree of availability of the overall requirements of e-learning in the teaching of Islamic education was intermediate. From the requirements of the application of e-learning for teacher of Islamic education, it was shown that these applications were in first place. Then came second the requirements of the application of e-learning related to the student, The requirements of the application of e-learning related to curriculum came third, and the requirements of the application of e-learning on matters organizational technical came fourth, the requirements of the application of e-learning environment-related to education came last. As indicated by the results of the study, there were statistically significant differences in the requirements of the application of e-learning related to the teacher due to training courses, and in favor of male teachers who have received training in the field of computers. The researcher recommended a great deal of specialized courses in field of computer and information technology, such as ICDL courses, and ENTEL courses, and other courses that enable teachers of Islamic education to acquire the skills of application of e-learning.
