Effect of Six Thinking Hats Strategy in Development of Inferential Reading Comprehension for Fourth Grade Students in Bani Kennana District

Abstract


This study aims to investigate the effect of six thinking hats strategy in the development of inferential reading comprehension for fourth Grade Students in Bani Kennana District. The sample of the Study consisted of (80) male and female students from Kufrsoom primary school for girls and boys distributed into two groups, one is an experimental group of (40) male and female students, and the other is a control group of (40) male and female students. Moreover, to achieve the aims of this study the researcher used a test to measure the inferential reading comprehension. The results of the study shows that there were significant statistical differences of (α= 0.05) due to the effect of teaching strategy in favor of six thinking hats and there were no significant statistical differences of (α= 0.05) due to the effect of gender, and interaction between gender and teaching method.
