The Degree of Acquisition of Industrial Education Graduates in the Family of "Electric Power” To the Jordanian Career Standards As Shown In Their Results on "Tests - For - Practice"

Abstract


The study aimed at indentifying the degree of industrial education graduates’ acquisition (in the family of "electric power") to the Jordanian career standards as shown in their results on "tests - for - practice". The study sample consisted of (193) graduates among those who sat for the tests of the level of "skilled worker" in the main careers group to the family (Utilistion Electricity, Generation Electricity, Transmission and Distribution Electricity, Autocar Electricity). Mean of marks of applicants in the main career groups were analysed for. Results showed that the graduates degree of acquisition of the career standards in all groups was weak, it was recommended to include the standards, demands in the industrial education curriculum, and to the orient assessment in industrial schools towards the Jordanian career standards.
