The Effectiveness of a Teaching Strategy Based on the Constructivism Approach on Increasing the Achievement of Male and Female Nursing Students in Professional Nursing Ethics Subject at Al- Ahliyya Amman University

This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a teaching strategy based on the constructivism approach on increasing the achievement of male and female nursing students in professional nursing ethics, in nursing faculty at Al- Ahliyya Amman University.

The researcher constructed special instruments to investigate the study. Results of the study indicated the effectiveness of the strategy based on the constructivism approach on increasing the achievement of the nursing students, in the experimental groups.

Moreover, results indicated that there were no significant differences between the male and female that was taught by the strategy based on the constructivism approach.

In the light of these findings the study recommended the adoption of the teaching strategy to increase the achievement of nursing students. Based on these findings the researcher also recommended for curricula designers educational supervisors, teachers of nursing to use this strategy based on constructivism approach for its effectiveness on increasing the student, achievement in nursing.

Further studies on other subjects, in nursing and general science in general to make the benefit more wide spread were also advised.
