Abstract

This study aimed to developing a program in Rational Emotive Education and to evaluating its effects in dealing with the future anxiety and reducing the antisocial behavior among a sample of industrial high school students in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (28) students. The students were randomly chosen and distributed into experimental and control groups with (14) students each. A future anxiety scale and antisocial behavior scale were used to measure the dependent variables.
The Results revealed a positive and a significant correlation between future anxiety and antisocial behavior. It also revealed a significant effect of the program in reducing the level of the future anxiety and antisocial behavior at the post test. On the other hand, the program did not maintain its positive effect on any of the study scales at the follow-up measurement as well
