The Organization's Strategy in the Light of Contemporary International Variables

Abstract


The study is intended to explore The organization's strategy in the light of contemporary international variables, through conducting the analytical study on public shareholding industrial companies in Jordan. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, a questionnaire has been adopted to measure the independent study variables along with the new global variables and measure the dependant variables in terms of organization’s strategy and related implications.
The population of the study consists of public shareholding industrial companies, and the comprehensive exclusive approach has been used owing to the small size of the study population. A number of statistical methods are used in this study including mainly descriptive statistics, simple deviation, and Pearson's connection coefficient in order to determine the study findings. This study reached several major results as follows:
- The new global variables and their implications have an impact on organization’s strategy and related aspects; particularly as the knowledge variable yields the largest impact on the strategy in industrial companies.
- Global variables have a strong impact on company’s objectives.
- There is a strong relationship between global variables and organization’s strategy.
The study made a recommendation on the need to take care of enhancing employees' awareness through knowledge based information and communication technology, to give due concern to the new global variables for the purpose of identifying the internal points of strength and weakness and the external opportunities and threats, and that industrial companies should focus on research and development, It is important to enhance the awareness of managers in industrial companies of the concepts of strategic management and its applications in order to face the new global variables and related implications.
