The Effect of Sources of Job Stress on Innovative Behavior of the Employees of Arab Potash Company

Abstract


The study aimed at recognizing the effect of job stress sources on the innovative behavior of the employees of Arab Potash Company.
To achieve the objectives of this study, a questionnaire was developed and distributed to the study population which consisted of (769) employees. A sample was chosen randomly, which counted (250) subjects, forming about (33%) of the study population. The Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS 0) was used to analyze the data. In order to answer the questions of the study, Pearson’s corelation matrix and descriptive statistical measures were used. Multiple regression analysis was used to test the hypotheses of the study.
The study has reached the following conclusions:
1. There is a negative statistical relationship between the job stress sources and innovation behavior of the employees of Arab Potash Company.
2. There is statistical significant effect for the job stress sources on the innovation behavior of the employees of Arab Potash Company.
The study has recommended that the company should face or deal with the sources of job stress, in order to encourage the innovative behavior of its employees.
